Food Fridays!!!!
La Cienega Boulevard in Beverly Hills
Luxury at its limit! Not really, but Lawry's is definitely no ordinary restaurant. This place is the PEAK of all prime ribs. A go-to restaurant when there's nowhere to go when visitors come from out of town. A perfect place to spend a nice, romantic dinner, or to simply celebrate an occasion. Or...to just have a nice dinner out...if you have money growing from trees. Yes, Lawry's is a bit pricey, BUT Lawry's comes HIGHLY recommended...by me.
Located on La Cienega Boulevard in Beverly Hills, Lawry's Restaurant is best known for its AMAZING prime rib meals. However, unlike other "specialty" restaurants, Lawry can be remembered for more than its prime ribs. The service at Lawry's is unbeatable; The creamed corn is a MUST; and best of all...waiting to be seated has never been better. Lawry's has one of the best waiting rooms in the WORLD. While waiting to be seated, you can either wait at a bar (if you're over the age of 21 of course) OR you can wait in the waiting room where delicious meatballs and other snacks are served...for freeeee!!! It only gets better from there. Before being served the amazing dish of prime ribs (cut of your choice) and creamed corn...Lawry's waitresses toss the best salads. They specially toss it in their chilled bowls and they toss it right in front of you so that it is FRESH.
But all in all, Lawry's is an extraordianry restaurant that EVERYONE should at least try once in their life. EpikBabies CONFIDENTLY recommends their readers to eat at Lawry's!! GOOD DAY!

Traveling during a recession?!?!?
We are all fully aware that money is no joke these days. And when money is no joke, travel is near impossible. But as human beings, we are all in need of a nice getaway from our busy lifestyles. So this summer, why not travel the states, or spend your time at a nice getaway near your hometown instead of an extravagant vacation to the Bahamas or an expensive trip to Europe. Screw long distance trips on a plane, pack your bags and prepare for a trip in your car. Roadddd trippp!!!
Here are some places you can go to within the U.S. (if you're currently living in the U.S)
1. Las Vegas, NV
VEGAS!!! A perfect place to spend the weekend with friends or family. There are plenty of things to do in Vegas all for a cheap price. Hotel rooms and dining are very affordable as are the attractions. Most people think people go to Vegas to gamble...partially true, BUT there is much more to Vegas than poker or blackjack. You can simple just walk around the strip and admire the architecture of the city, watch the water show at the Bellagio Hotel, go to a spa in a hotel, MGM, watch musicals and shows, etc,
etc...the list goes on. There is too much to do in Vegas, all at an affordable price.
2. New York

There are way too many things to do in New York to list and explain, so I'll just list the top ten things to do in NY. 1)Central Park 2)Carnegie Hall 3)Times Square 4)Broadway 5)Madame Tussauds Wax Museum 6)Radio City Music Hall 7)Metropolitan Museum of Art 8)View from Rockefeller Plaza 9)Statue of Liberty/Empire State Building 10) EAT NY PIZZZAAAAA!!!
3) National Parks
Enjoy the great outdoors this summer. Pack your bag with some clothes, flashlight, tent, and hiking boots and go to a national park. All you have to do is pay for a pass to get in a national park and food. Very cheap and very convenient while you enjoy the nice sun and summer breeze while enjoying what nature has to offer. Some notable national parks are listed: 1) Rocky Mountain National Park
2) Yellowstone National Park 3) Olympic National Park 4) Grand Canyon National Park 5) Everglades National Park 6) Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park 7) Great Smoky Mountains National Park 8) Shenandoah National Park 9) Yosemite National Park
10) Acadia National Park
There are tons of places you can go without digging through your savings. Enjoy a nice and cheap getaway this summer!!

Google Chrome
Google Chrome is one of the newest web browsers out there, and I also think that it's the best one out there. As a former user of Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox, Chrome owns all of these. Yea, it doesn't have all those add-ons like Firefox, but it has other features that are really nice. It's pretty simple and convenient. However, its not available yet for Mac users.. (losers)

Some things I really love about Chrome is that the default home page shows screen shots of 9 of the websites you visit the most. Kind of like bookmarks.. Speaking of bookmarks, you can drag your favorite websites onto the toolbar and easily click on it whenever you want. Chrome
also has tabs that you can separate to open up a new window. If you have multiple windows of Chrome open, you can drag them into one window. SOO convenient. You know what else is pretty convenient? Since Chrome is made by Google, whenever you want to search something, you can just type it into the bar and hit enter. There is also the INCOGNITO mode, where users can open up a new window that is private. It never saves any of your history or cookies or anything after you exit incognito mode. There are so many other additional features that you can check out at http://www.google.com/chrome. All you need to know is, Google Chrome is the best browser out there. You have to give it a chance, and if you dont like it, I will buy you a cookie.

Personally, the biggest reason why I love Chrome and why I believe Chrome>all is because it is so fast. Cnet shows the results after comparing Chrome with the other major browsers (IE, FireFox, Safari) and Chrome clearly is above the other browsers. I also tried comparing it myself because I still have Firefox installed, and Chrome is definitely faster, better, and stronger.
Well, nothing is ever perfect, and Chrome has its flaws as well. Since Chrome is relatively new, it still does not have the option of adding add-ons. However, I'm sure it will be available soon. You are also not allowed to delete a single website from your history. You can only delete the whole day or the whole thing. One of the bigger flaws is that some websites have functions that aren't compatible with Chrome, which is why I still have Firefox just in case.

Public Enemies
Public enemy #1 during the early 1930's, John Dillinger is definitely an American worthy of recognition. Are you kidding me?? This kid robbed a bank in 1 minute and 30 seconds. How can you not praise him? Aside from his criminal genius, John Dillinger is a gangster with class! And Michael Mann does an AMAZING job portraying the infamous John Dillinger with the amazing casting of the great Johnny Depp (what role can he NOT play?!?), not to mention the breathtakingly beautiful Marion Cotillard.
To give you an extremely brief synopsis of the movie, this movie is about the public enemy #1, at the time John Dillinger, a genius bank robber. He robbed banks and lived an extravagant lifestyle with other people's money. He never ran from the police or ever worried about his capture. He had "too much fun today to think about tomorrow." This movie takes us on a historical adventure back in time and shows us the hard time John Dillinger single handedly gave the Feds while showing us his carefree nature.
The cinematography in this movie was great! While many complain about the "home video-like" quality of the movie in certain scenes, I thought it added to the artistic side of the film. It was as if it was a first person perspective in gun fights for example. The only complaint I have in this movie was the pathetic role of Christian Bale. Agent Melvin Pervis was, in my opinion, pathetic....and his mention in the end of the movie (of his death) was COMPLETELY unnecessary. I DON'T CARE ABOUT MELVIN PERVIS. Tell me more about John Dillinger!!!! :)
After watching this movie, I can confidently say that John Dillinger is my HERO! I will end my first review with a suave line that John Dillinger says to the love of his life:
John Dillinger: I like baseball, movies, good clothes, fast cars... and you. What else you need to know?
